|Carole Isom-Barnes, PhD
Carole is an organizational change consultant with over 25 years of Fortune 500 senior leadership experience in Human Resource, Operations, Risk, and Strategic Planning management. Carole has previously served on the faculty at Queens University of Charlotte teaching business courses. She is a business school lecturer and frequent speaker and panelist at academic and professional conferences. She has presented on topics, such as, organizational leadership, social and economic disparities, and race and gender issues.
Carole's research addresses the social, economic and personal impact of corporate layoffs. She is the author of Layoff: American Dream Interrupted, capturing three-years of phenomenological research. She is also the author of Unemployment Disparities: Employee Insight and Personal Perspectives, a publication in collaboration with the Urban League of Central Carolinas, Inc.
Carole has done extensive research on organizational change. She possesses a PhD in Leadership & Change and an M.A. in Organizational Communication. Carole is also Six Sigma certified in process management and improvement.
Carole serves on the Antioch University Board of Governors and is a member of the International Leadership Association (ILA), the National Communication Association (NCA), Women Executives (WE) and Women Initiating and Nurturing Growth through Scholarship (WINGS).
